Since 2005, PSA-USA has empowered underprivileged communities through education, healthcare, and economic development—serving both Plateau State, Nigeria, and the diaspora in the United States.
This milestone event brings together community leaders, development partners, and friends of Plateau for a powerful weekend of reflection, recognition, and renewed purpose.
PSA-USA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit uniting the Plateau diaspora to support charitable and educational initiatives focused on the most vulnerable—promoting dignity, opportunity, and lasting change.

Our Mission
Plateau State Association, USA, Inc. is organized to build a community of Plateau State diaspora living in USA exclusively for and to support charitable and educational projects in Plateau State, more specifically to engage in education, health, social and economic development activities for the poor, disabled and underprivileged in Plateau State of Nigeria and the USA.
PSA IN THE PAST YEARS

Plateau State
Plateau state has been adjusted to its present borders many times. Colonial manipulation was from a desire to protect the railway construction and guarantee a safe passage of mined tin to the coast. The British began to exert colonial control of Nigeria in the early 20th century.
In 1926, Plateau Province, made up of Jos and Pankshin Divisions. The border changed several times in subsequent years as the government sought not to split ethnic groups.
